19-Year-Old Identified as “Talented Tosháy” Killed in Lane College Shooting
Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night on the campus of Lane College.
According to the City of Jackson Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 11:00 p.m. on March 28, 2026, at Orchard Hall. When they arrived, they found a 19-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. He has now been identified by the community as Talented Tosháy.
Police have confirmed that one person of interest has been detained in connection with the incident. Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including a possible motive.
Authorities emphasized that the incident appears to be isolated, and no other students were injured. At this time, no additional suspects are being sought.
