20-Year-Old Found Dead at Lake Fort Phantom Hill in Abilene
Authorities in Abilene are investigating after a young man was found dead Wednesday morning at Lake Fort Phantom Hill.
According to the Abilene Police Department, the victim has been identified as Aiden Riley Roque, 20.
Police say a witness spotted Roque’s body floating in the water near Johnson Park shortly after 11:00 a.m. His body was recovered approximately 10 to 15 feet from the shoreline.
Officials confirmed that Roque had been reported missing earlier in the week, on Monday afternoon.
At this time, investigators are working to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities have not released additional details, and the case remains under active investigation.
