With profound sadness, we remember Rebecca Dorr, a beloved woman from Brunswick, Maine, whose life was tragically lost after a months-long search.
Rebecca was reported missing on January 25, 2026, sparking an extensive search effort that brought together local authorities, search and rescue teams, and members of the community. Despite difficult conditions, including heavy snowfall in the early days of her disappearance, the search never stopped. Hope remained alive as teams continued to follow leads and comb through wooded areas and trails in the weeks that followed.
On March 21, 2026, Rebecca was sadly found deceased in a wooded area near a network of trails. Authorities have stated that her death is not considered suspicious, but the loss is no less heartbreaking for those who knew and loved her.
Rebecca’s absence was deeply felt throughout the community during the search, and her passing now leaves an even greater void. She will be remembered not only for who she was, but for the love she shared and the lives she touched.
As family, friends, and the Brunswick community grieve, may they find comfort in the support surrounding them and in the memories they hold close.
Rest peacefully, Rebecca Dorr. You are remembered, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
