    Despite lifesaving efforts, Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene, officials confirmed.

    Preliminary information indicates that a blue vehicle struck the motorcycle and then fled the area, leaving the rider seriously injured. Police believe the vehicle involved in the crash left the scene immediately after the collision.
