Authorities in Albuquerque have launched a homicide investigation after a person was found dead at a residence in the northwest part of the city.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call around 5:30 p.m. on Monday reporting a deceased individual near 12th Street and La Poblana Road. The victim has been identified as Ambrosio Marquez.
Upon arrival, authorities confirmed that one person was dead at the scene.
