Authorities in Charlotte are investigating a deadly triple shooting that occurred during a large party on Hucks Road Sunday evening.
According to reports, the incident happened around 7:39 p.m. on March 22, 2026, where more than 100 teenagers and young adults had gathered. During the event, a fight reportedly broke out, escalating into gunfire.
Police say three individuals were shot during the chaos. One of the victims, identified as RJ Thomas, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims—a male and a female—sustained injuries but survived the shooting.
Investigators believe the violence stemmed from the altercation at the party, though details about the suspect or suspects involved have not yet been released.
