A quiet neighborhood in Crete Township has been left in shock after three family members were found dead inside their home in what authorities are calling a domestic-related incident.
Welfare Check Turns Deadly Discovery
According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 3400 block of Norway Trail around 2:00 a.m. on March 23, 2026, to conduct a welfare check.
Upon entering the home, officers discovered three deceased individuals.
Victims Identified
Authorities have identified the victims as:
- Jake Lambert, 32
- Patrick M. Forde, 55
- Stacy Oezer Forde, 54

All three were residents of the home and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Arrested in Indiana

Investigators identified Jenna Strouble, 30, of Saint John, Indiana, as a person of interest. Authorities say she fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody in Indiana.
