Sadie Tull Identified in Carlyle Death Investigation

Sadie Tull has been identified as the woman found deceased Tuesday morning in Carlyle, Illinois. Authorities say officers with the Carlyle Police Department responded to a residence in the 2100 block of Fairfax Street at approximately 8:10 a.m. for a welfare check.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the 41-year-old woman unresponsive inside the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not yet released details regarding the cause of death.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the case, the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis was activated at the request of Carlyle Police Chief Herzing to assist with the investigation. Detectives are currently working to determine what led to Tull’s death.

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s assistance as the investigation continues.
