Two Dead, One Critically Injured in Algonquin Shooting; Teen Arrested
A fatal triple shooting in the Algonquin area of Louisville is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to reports of gunfire on the 1200 block of Brashear Drive, where they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two individuals—a male and a female—were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third male victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The victims who died have been identified as Mari, also known as “Twinn Get Back,” and Chris Kelso.
Police have arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection with the shooting. He is facing charges including two counts of murder, first-degree assault, evidence tampering, and illegal possession of a firearm as a minor.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further arrests have been announced.
