A man was found fatally shot Wednesday morning inside a building believed to be an after-hours club in south Columbus.
Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert said officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of Lockbourne Road after the building owner called 911 upon discovering the victim. The man, identified by family as Dekevin Louis, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:40 a.m.
Authorities have not identified any suspects. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage to determine when the shooting occurred, as there were no overnight reports of gunshots. Sgt. Albert said the shooting does not appear to be self-inflicted.
