  • Three Men Injured in Raleigh Shooting on Poole Road, Investigation Ongoing

    Police in Raleigh are continuing to investigate a Saturday evening shooting on Poole Road that left three men injured.

    According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded around 6:50 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived at the scene, they located two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are expected to recover.

    Authorities later confirmed that a third victim also arrived at a local hospital with injuries connected to the shooting. The third victim has since been identified by community members as Dot St Patrick. Officials said his injuries were non-life-threatening, and he is also expected to recover.

    The shooting reportedly occurred next to a Memorial Day gathering, where families and residents had been enjoying what witnesses described as a peaceful celebration before gunfire erupted.

    One witness, identified only as Malik, said the event had been filled with “good vibrations” before the violence shattered the atmosphere. Family members of one of the victims also spoke out following the incident, expressing frustration and sadness over violence continuing to impact their community.

    At this time, police have not announced any arrests or released information regarding possible suspects. Investigators also have not publicly identified the other victims involved.

    The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine what led to the shooting.
