Convicted Killer Jarvis Butts Dies Weeks After Sentencing in Disturbing Turn of Events
Jarvis Butts, a Detroit man recently sentenced to decades in prison, has died just weeks after his conviction, adding a troubling development to an already heartbreaking case.
Butts had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death of his 13-year-old niece, Na’Ziyah Harris. He also faced multiple sexual assault charges involving minors.
