Three Spotsylvania High School Seniors Killed in Late-Night Crash Identified
A tragic crash in Spotsylvania County has claimed the lives of three high school seniors, leaving the community in mourning.
According to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 11:46 p.m. on March 27 to the 5300 block of Lewiston Road following reports of a serious vehicle crash.
When authorities arrived, they discovered a single vehicle with three occupants inside. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say a 2002 Mercedes coupe reportedly veered off the roadway and struck a tree. Preliminary findings indicate that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
The victims have been identified as 17-year-old Antonio, 17-year-old Kyle Derby, and Dylan. All three were seniors at Spotsylvania High School and were expected to graduate in the coming months.
The devastating loss has deeply impacted the local community, with officials and residents expressing condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
