Man Identified in Crete Township Triple Homicide Investigation
Authorities have identified one of the victims in a triple homicide discovered early Monday morning as Jake Lambert, 32.
According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 2:00 a.m. on March 23, 2026, to a welfare check at a home in the 3400 block of E. Norway Trail, where three adults were found deceased inside the residence.
Officials have confirmed that Lambert was among the victims, while the identities of the other two individuals have not yet been officially released in this update.
Investigators say the incident appears to be domestic-related, and a 30-year-old woman from Indiana has been taken into custody as a person of interest. Charges are pending.
Authorities have stated there is no threat to the public at this time.
The Will County Coroner’s Office is expected to conduct autopsies as part of the ongoing investigation.
