23-Year-Old Woman Identified in Deadly Clinton Shooting; Homicide Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have launched a homicide investigation following a deadly shooting in Clinton late Sunday night.
According to Chief Deputy Coroner Ashley Rushton, the Laurens County Coroner’s Office was notified shortly before 10:00 p.m. on March 29 of a fatal incident involving a gunshot victim at a residence.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Enoshia Cromer, a resident of Clinton. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy conducted Monday morning confirmed that Cromer died from a gunshot wound. Officials have ruled the manner of death as homicide.
The Clinton Police Department, alongside the Laurens County Coroner’s Office, is actively investigating the case.
At this time, authorities have not released any additional details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
