Detroit police are investigating a targeted double homicide that claimed the lives of Rita Kholdd and Oilbase “Deadzoneraye DaGoat” on the city’s east side Wednesday afternoon. 💔🕊️

Authorities say officers responded to the 9600 block of McKinney Street after a ShotSpotter alert detected multiple rounds of gunfire. Both victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Family and community members have now identified the suspected shooter as Hershle Walker. At this time, police have not officially confirmed arrest details as the investigation remains ongoing.

A 1-month-old baby discovered in the back seat of one of the vehicles was thankfully unharmed. 🙏👶
