🚨 BREAKING: Woman to Face Manslaughter Charge in Death of Boyfriend Joshua Samaroo 🚨

Police in Trinidad and Tobago are now seeking to arrest Kaia Sealy following legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions regarding the January 20, 2026 shooting death of Joshua Samaroo.

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Sealy is expected to face multiple charges, including:
▪️ Manslaughter in connection with Samaroo’s death
▪️ Three counts of shooting with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at police officers

Authorities say the charges stem from an incident that occurred at the corner of College Road and Bassie Street Extension in St. Augustine.

Police confirmed that arrest warrants have been issued, but as of now, they have not yet been executed.

The TTPS also clarified that no police officers are being charged in connection with the case, despite speculation following a media briefing earlier today.
