Man Identified, Woman Critical Following Memphis Shooting

Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred in Memphis, Tennessee, resulting in one fatality and one person critically injured.

According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded just after midnight to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Hamilton Street near Douglass Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a man and a woman with gunshot injuries. The man, identified as Lee Mhoon, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, identified as Meoshe Meezi, was transported to a hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

At this time, no suspect information has been released.
