Two Men Killed in Miami Shooting as Suspect Faces Murder Charges

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred inside an apartment in Miami, resulting in two deaths.

According to police, the suspect, identified as Antwan Carter, 31, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the incident.

Investigators say the victims, identified as Gianni Pierre, 28, and Jaheim Pierre, 23, were involved in an altercation at the apartment prior to the shooting. During the incident, Carter left the location and later returned.

Police report that shots were fired after Carter re-entered the apartment. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities stated that Carter later approached officers and was taken into custody. A firearm was recovered.

The case remains under investigation as officials work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
