Two separate shootings in Brooklyn, Illinois, early Sunday morning left two people dead, including a man identified as Damian Wayne.

Illinois State Police are investigating both deadly incidents, which occurred approximately two hours apart.

The first shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. at a strip club in the 200 block of Madison Street. A woman was shot and killed in that incident.

About two hours later, at approximately 5:30 a.m., another shooting was reported at a different strip club in the 100 block of 4th Street. Two people were shot, and one of the victims, a man, later died from his injuries.

The deceased man has been identified as Damian Wayne.

Authorities have not confirmed whether the two shootings are connected. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding both incidents and determine what led to the deadly violence.
