A shooting outside a Greensboro club early Sunday morning left one person dead and four others injured, according to authorities.

The Greensboro Police Department, along with the Greensboro Fire Department and Guilford County EMS, responded to the 4600 block of West Market Street at approximately 1:55 a.m. following reports that multiple people had been shot outside Club O, also known as The O.

Guilford County EMS pronounced one person dead at the scene at approximately 2:11 a.m. The victim has been identified as Turc Munyun Rollin. Authorities had not initially released the victim’s identity.

Four additional people suffered gunshot wounds during the incident. Two victims were transported to a local hospital by EMS, while two others arrived at the hospital by private vehicle. Another person was reportedly injured by broken glass. Police Chief Kamran Afzal said there were no immediate updates on the conditions of the shooting victims.

According to Greensboro police, detectives learned that a disturbance occurred in front of the establishment before multiple shots were fired.

Homicide detectives and crime scene specialists responded to process the area and interview witnesses. Investigators are also contacting nearby businesses to obtain exterior surveillance footage that could help determine what happened.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and what led to the disturbance.
